Karleen Materne is a 1989 graduate of Bowling Green State University where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Art Education.  She spent a combined total of 15 years teaching for Mad River Local Schools and Sycamore Community Schools and is the founder of

Green Lion Studios in Springboro, Ohio. 

2017 is her 27th year of teaching.  

Mrs. Materne is looking forward to her 6th year teaching in the Village of Yellow Springs !
